Weekend program. sail training, out of Portsmouth, agenda depends on individual interest, weather & tides. Friday evening to Sunday Afternoon
Long weekends Passage & mile building 3 or 4 day weekend, coastal or across to France.
Race Training (Weekend) Weekend Race training out of Portsmouth or Southampton, develop your crewing skills using all the kit inc spinnakers and get to know the rules. Friday evening to Sunday afternoon
Racing & Regattas Join the competition – Participate in a yacht race - crew participating should have some experience or have done some race training. Races may be inshore (day time) or offshore (involving overnight)

Introduction- Start Yachting. This is the first half of the Competent Crew course , just one weekend setup as a taster if you like..
Competent Crew get to know the ropes (well some of them) 5 days of basic skills to make you feel at home on a sailing boat & be a useful crew member.
Day skipper This course is design to teach the skills that will take you from crew to skipper. Includes Pilotage, Navigation, Seamanship & Boat handling. So for people that can sail* and want to take command of a vessel in familiar tidal waters, for maximum benefit do the Part 1 shorebased course first!
